Hey guys. I know I've been a bad webmistress and all, leaving so suddenly.

I'm here to say that Seasonal Wishes will be going on an open hiatus. This means that the site will still be open for those who still have requests to pick up and such, but this also means that we will not be taking any more requests until the site reopens.

I've sort of come to a decision where even though I've not been, what I would call a good webmistress, that I may have to actually stop being the webmistress. It may not be such a schock to many of you, as many sites have closed for this exact same reason; but I am entering year 11 in 8 months, and I really need to keep my grades up to choose the subjects I want to get into.

But in saying this, it's still something that I am considering, and if worst comes to worst, I will have to close down the site. So this is my question for all of you. Is anyone willing to take over Seasonal Wishes, if I do give up my position as Webmistress?

Taking over Seasonal Wishes, it's not just you taking over, and me saying:

Okay, you've taken over, I'm going to leave now, bye.

I will stay with the new webmistress for a week or so, just to help her get used to Seasonal Wishes. She is free to edit the site in anyway after I am gone. If I do leave.

I'm hoping my life will sort of..pick itself up and organise itself, so I dont have to leave. If you are interested in becoming the new webmistress, please email the site.

You have a month to apply.

If I get no response to anyone being the new webmistress, I will have to close down the site.

Why hello everyone! It's been a while :). I know I promised to post a couple of days ago, and I'm sorry; I got pretty busy after that.

First off; Request Statuses have been updated. Those who have requested should receive a comment in their comment's page about it being ready for pick up. After this, all requests will be notified by email. I'm sorry if this is inconvenient for anyone, and if you have any questions why, please check the FAQ page before emailing an inquiry.

Secondly; we have a few people to say goodbye to. Olivia, Xiah Dolphin, Papercranesora and WonderBinnie; four incredibly wonderful staff that have been a great addition to the Seasonal Wishes family, have chosen to resign. I bid you goodbye and good luck in the future.

And to JirlinA, mhiz.SUNSHINE, Mochi, The_AnGeL, AngelAini97; they have left Seasonal Wishes due to matters which shall stay between them and I. I wish them all the best for the future, it was great having these five wonderful people on our team.

Third; We have seven graphic designers, six reviewers and two trailer makers. This means that we're hiring three graphic designers and four reviewers; as well as three trailer makers. If you would like to apply, please do so. It would be great having more people on our team.

Hey hey!

It's been a while since I've last posted on SW but here I am, back!

I would like to say, wow; didn't Star-chan do a GREAT job of the new layout?

Everyone, put your hands together for a huge round of applause for SW's webmistress, Star-chan!

Yes, the new layout is pink, but hey, it's not the normal Korean, Taiwanese, Japanese bands/artists/singers... this is different!

Valentine's Day is coming soon~! I hope everyone does receive a box of chocolate or a bunch of roses? ~~Which I never get.~~

New Layout!

Hello everyone! It's Star-chan once again~ Hmm..I find something different and new about Seasonal Wishes; don't you? Maybe it's the new...layout? ~~or the fact that the tag board has been coloured for once~~.

Yes, I seem to like thinking outside the box, that's why instead of featuring an Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese or Japanese artist, I chose to feature one of the animes that got me into the world of otaku-ness.

This month, our layout is featuring Card Captor Sakura (as you can see above). I love this anime - besides Pokemon, Digimon, Hamtaro, One Peice, Ghost In A Shell, Bleach...okay I think you guys get the point. All the ones that have been somehow english dubbed that used to show on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim - I think it was the first anime I actually finished. Then came Chobits, but I really watched six eps of that then guessed the rest...hmm...

Well that's all for now; I have to go get ready for school. ~~Nuu I dont wanna go!~~. I'll have another post up sometime this afternoon, after school, whether it be before or after piano, I have absolutely no idea; but I will post! Expect some...news, I guess. (:

Hey guys! It's Star-chan here! Ahh, posting after a long time...Missed you guys so much! Anyway, sorry to staff for not notifying them about the change; I was busy in setting up the new and improved Seasonal Wishes. I promise it won't happen again~ I have one of the worst memories on earth too, haha.

Moving on, as you all see; we've moved to the oh-so-convenient blogger! If any of you have any inquiries of why we've moved; feel free to contact us at our email; or if you have any other questions for that matter, please contact us!

We also have a new layout as you can see~ Well I wanted to have a go at coding and trying to make a layout..It's satisfactory I guess ^^. I borrowed the base codes (check out the site in the credits section); dramafreak4eva and I had a hard time choosing between Secret and HAM; but Secret ended up winning. ~~Only because I stuffed up the HAM one~~. I'll try to improve in layout making!

Some new features of the new Seasonal Wishes includes the fact that our Trailer Request has been reopened; and that we have collaboration challenges with Lonesome Sprint. The challenges shall open in a short amount of time, as soon as I get to sit down and talk with the webmistress and co webmistress of Lonesome Sprint. Check them out if you have the time!

We're also associated with AAM Entertainment; as you can see on the right.
The purpose for this organisation is to discover talents. Both founders realise, that some netizens have developed their skills to a professional standard. It's a project that ShadowYin and Star-chan presents to you! Check it out if you have the time; we're hiring staff there haha.

Well; I'm also five days late but happy seventh anniversary to Seasonal Wishes. I was so caught up in planning the renovation that I actually forgot! I guess dramafreak4eva and I had too much stuff on our mind; sorry to all.. ^^. Thank you to all the staff and affies who have been with us for the past seven months :). We appreciate it!

Trailer Request

1) Please don't request from us if you have already requested from another site. I understand that our staff may take a while to complete your request, but to make a good trailer isn't easy.

2) Note that trailers are not a movies for your stories. A trailer is merely a teaser to intrest people into reading your story.

3) You must provide us with an working URL and email. If not, we can not contact you when your request is finished.

4) If you do not have the patience to wait for a trailer, please cancel your request. Our trailer makers do not need you annoying them when they will finish your trailer. Questions that have been previously asked by our requesters. More questions will be added. Please do not hesitate to email us if you have any questions.

Will I be blacklisted if I request a trailer from your site, but have requested a review and a poster/background from another?
No, as long as you use the trailer you wont be blacklisted. As for reviews, you're actually allowed to request as many as you like from different sites without being blacklisted.

How do I get blacklisted at Seasonal Wishes?
Well, like every site, if you don't follow our rules you will be blacklisted. If you spam our cbox, that may be another way. Being rude to our staff, giving us silly answers for feedback, canceling your request through the cbox and not through the form, not putting up or using posters/trailers/reviews; those type of things.

Why are the requests notice now being sent by email and not by story comments?
This is because I'm getting confused as to who wants their request notice by story or email. It's just simpler if I send out all the notices by email; since being sent out be email means I can email more then one person about their request.

1) Please do not request from us, then from another site. Don't bother requesting from Seasonal Wishes, if you are going to request from another site.

2) Please include valid URL and high quality pictures. If not, you are giving the designer the right to choose high quality pictures for you.

3) Please make sure that our designers can access the picture without having to sign up to receive the picture.

4) You must give us an valid URL for your story.

5) You must use the graphic you have requested. Blacklisting will happen if you do not follow this rule.

6) It is a must that you keep our designer's credits on the poster, and credit us for your graphics. Claiming that the poster/background is yours, results in blacklisting.

7) You must provide us with an email address that you use, especially if you would like to be notified by email.

8) If you have any fictional characters in your story, please provide us with links to that picture. If not, you are giving our designers the right to choose a picture for you.

9) Please note that there should only be 6 characters in any one poster, unless it is a band. Your poster would get over crowded and it would be hard work for the designer to fit them all in any one canvas.

10) Please be patient with us. All our designers aren't always free, they have lives that do not revolve around the computer. Please click the number one to get to the request form.

11) Failure to follow these rules shall result in blacklisting.

About Us

History
Seasonal Wishes was created on the 2nd of July 2009. I was bored, as I just finished a graphics request at another site. That's when I came up with the idea of creating a request site. After some consideration about the amount of work I knew that would follow the title of webmistress, I logged into my webs account and created a website.

1/1/2010
We (dramafreak4eva and I) soon moved the site to blogger. This was due to the fact that degrading webs into a HTML format was simply a wrong move as there was so many pages to edit, as well has having to paste the layout code on every page. Blogger is a common site used to host request sites and blogs, but it was easier then to keep pasting the layout code in every page and you only have to click 'edit post' to edit a page, whereas in webs, you'd need to go through about 20 pages before you get everything done.

Seasonal Wishes
Many of you may ask, why did I choose to name this site Seasonal Wishes. I chose this title because I liked it, and it sounded unique, and sweet at the same time. I had came up with names such as 'Heavens Peace' which didn't sound right, 'Winter Wishes' which felt too common, 'Musical Melodies' sounded common too, and a whole other range of names; when I ended up with 'Seasonal Wishes', by looking at a template.

If you know me really well, then you should know that I likes to look deeply into things. Seasonal Wishes means that with every season, a wish is made. Whether it be in Summer, Autumn, Winter or Spring, someone will always make a wish. If any of those wishes include graphic designing, reviewing or trailer making, we're here to fulfill those wishes for you.
